Small kitchens are the most common kitchens we can afford if we are living close to downtown area. Unless you are exceptionally rich or already own the property for ages, you would not be able to afford the pricy urban properties with so much living space. Certainly this out of reach surface would gather dust faster than you can imagine.
The kitchen island would be the perfect extra storage solution; however the kitchen island is usually located at the center of the kitchen. If the space is small, the best interior design of small kitchen would be not to use kitchen islands. With the limited space, the kitchen island would only make the room seems more cramped. Moving around would be quite difficult.
Use more compact kitchen appliances in the interior design of small kitchen. Measure up the space for everything before you go to the store and buy one. With the limited space of the small kitchens, every inch is priceless. If you buy an appliances an inch more than you should, then you may end up with a dream appliance which you cannot seem to place in your kitchen. If your budget is limited, then you may need to consider purchasing the modular kitchen cabinetry instead.
